HEY THERE,

I’M MICHELLE

There’s power in sharing your story with others.

Storytelling remains a universal language. One we can all understand and deeply experience together.

Although our stories may look different, they contain the same experiences of ups and downs, heartache, loss, love, beauty, and resilience.

This is what I love about storytelling, and why I’ve built a business that helps people tell their story in a way that impacts others and provides them with the freedom they’ve always dreamed of.

The more you accept your story and choose to share it with the world the stronger your brand, business and impact will be.

I believe everyone has a story to share, here's mine…

At 22 years old, I lost my brother to cancer, he was only 19.

At that moment I began to look at my life differently.

I no longer wanted to watch it pass me by, I wanted to become the author of my own story, make more intentional decisions, and truly LIVE.

Although I felt this deep desire to have these things, it would take me 8 years to really take the first life-altering step.

I married my brother’s best friend (yes, that’s a story for another time), and on the Winter Solstice, in 2015, our son was born.

From that moment I was changed.

I experienced my rebirth just as my son was entering this world.

As I navigated postpartum, I unexpectedly came face to face with who I wanted to become.

The deep desire to have more out of life became so

loud and so fierce that I could no longer ignore it.

I quickly realized that I no longer wanted to juggle working a 9 to 5 and raising my son.

I didn't want to feel drained when I got home from work, without enough energy to enjoy my family.

I didn't want to have to ask off to travel, something that truly makes my heart feel most aligned, and something we had desired to share with our son.

I realized that I really wanted it all, true freedom in all areas of my life - time, finances, and location and for the first time I permitted myself to have it.

I convinced myself, and my amazing husband, that starting a business was the fastest way to get there (luckily, I was right).

In January 2016, just one month after the birth of my son, I set out to start my business and leave my 9 to 5 by the end of the year.

I ENTERED INTO THE WORLD OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP BLINDLY.

I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW WHAT I WANTED TO DO OR WHAT I WANTED TO OFFER, I JUST KNEW I WANTED IT!

Like you, I began to explore ways to make money online. That’s when I discovered the world of online coaching.

I knew I had enough experience and credentials already to make it happen, how hard could it be to take what I was already doing at my job and turn it into a business?

Turns out incredibly hard.

I spent sleepless nights nursing a baby and building a website, brand, and materials to spread my message.

I took courses and joined group programs that would help me pull it all together.

Then in May 2016, I finally announced my new company Brandmerry! And, despite what everyone was telling me, nothing changed.

There wasn’t miraculous traffic to my website, I didn’t get a ton of followers online, and no one seemed to care.

I began to question every decision I had made and even my self-worth.

But, I was determined so I continued on the path laid out for me. I showed up online. I built an email list. I went live weekly. I created a private Facebook group. I posted daily.

I did all the things when in August 2016, I had an ah-ha moment.

What if everything I’d built wasn’t right? What if there was a crucial piece missing? What if it was me?!

I put my head down, and for two weeks I discovered what a brand truly was. I “re-launched” to my small, but mighty audience. Changing nothing about my strategy, but simply changing my messaging and I signed my first client.

That’s all I needed to know I was on to something.

I went all in, leaving my 9 to 5, and devoting my energy to building Brandmerry and sharing the power of branding and brand storytelling with anyone who would listen.

I hosted monthly webinars for one person. I went live weekly while my son was napping. I coached clients while nursing.

Within one year of signing my first client, I built a 6-figure cash business with a baby on my back, lap, or crawling at my feet!

I couldn’t believe I had done it.

I had reached the coveted 6-figure mark.

But, I was exhausted.

The strategies were not working for the time freedom I desired.

I knew I not only wanted to repeat this year after year, but also grow.

This was when my focus shifted.

I not only wanted to build an authentic revenue-generating impactful business but also one that was sustainable for me and my family.

Above everything, I wanted my business to contribute to my desired lifestyle not diminish it.

So, I grew again.

And it was because of the work that I had done at the branding level, diving deep into my story, that has allowed me to evolve and grow for eight years.

Every action I took from that moment on would be centered around a deeper desire to live freely and to become a fierce protector of my time.

That decision I made in January 2016 changed the

trajectory of my life and the life of my family.

Because of that decision, my family and I have traveled the world. Spending two years as digital nomads traveling the U.S. in our RV. Spending three months in Greece, and visiting 15 other countries with our son.

I’ve been fortunate to help women through my work, and teachings. To speak on podcasts, interviews, and more about my approach to branding and brand storytelling.

When I thought about throwing in the towel because nothing was working,

Branding saved my business.

It allowed me to reground myself and create a more aligned business that speaks volumes to my ideal customer.

It allowed me to identify how I wanted to show up as a brand and business owner through my marketing.

IT CHANGED EVERYTHING!

And the process of brand storytelling saved my life in so many ways.

I discovered who I was through the process. And to this day, I can show up online with integrity that I am remaining true to myself.

This integrity speaks volumes when building an online brand and community today.

Through it all, I’ve remained true to myself, my values, and my priorities and have built a successful business around it all.

My journey has taught me a lot, but the one thing I carry into my mentoring and consulting today is that authenticity is the secret to happiness and it couldn't be truer as a business owner.

It's my mission to help women uncover their story and authentic voice, through the power of branding, and then use this brand to build a profitable business around their mission.

I’ve experienced tremendous growth through entrepreneurship. The life it has provided my family has been the greatest gift of all.

I imagine it’s something you’re desiring as well.

To be able to build a business that not only impacts the lives of others but also elevates yours as well.

To be able to show up online through your marketing efforts in the most authentic and aligned way possible.

To know that as you build and scale your business, you’re doing so from a place of integrity.

To know that you’re impacting thousands, even millions, through your content and story.

By just being YOU, you’re able to create

a career and life you truly love.

To me, it’s the greatest gift to be able to support entrepreneurs like you in doing just that!

My world has completely changed since losing my brother in 2009, and while the journey has not been an easy one I see today that it has led me to this moment.

To meeting you on the internet (I mean what are the odds), and being able to somehow play a role in helping you share your story, mission, and purpose with others.

How cool?!

When you’re ready, I’m here to support you.
